The on-track action starts as early as half past eight in the morning (08:30) when the world’s fastest racing e-motorbikes emerge from the pit lane. FIM MotoE Practice will be followed by Free Practice for Moto2 and Moto3.
If you want to see the Practice Sessions live, you should arrive in good time. The best way to get to the circuit is by bus, train or bike; it’s quick, convenient and saves frazzled nerves. The car parks open at 07:00 and are within walking distance of the Red Bull Ring.
The premier class of motorbike racing flexes its muscles from 10:45 onwards. Pedro Acosta, Álex Márquez and the other MotoGP aces will have 45 minutes to perfect their setup for the Red Bull Ring. The 4.3-kilometre circuit makes heavy demands in terms of tyres and brakes. At 15:00, things will get much more serious in MotoGP Practice, as the Top Ten from this session will go straight through to Q2.
