Excitement for the GRAND PRIX OF AUSTRIA 2026 kicked off in full force on May 19th at Spielberg. The four MotoGP stars Brad Binder, Pedro Acosta, Enea Bastianini and Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, as well as Austrian world championship contender Leo Rammerstorfer, a moped race and the sound of KTM race bikes gave fans a taste of what to expect from the race weekend from 18 to 20 September. Dr. Helmut Marko, MotoGP Sporting Director Carlos Ezpeleta and Jason Kehl from Harley-Davidson were also among the guests at Spielberg.
After the turbulent Grand Prix in Barcelona, MotoGP riders arrived in Styria mid-May to build excitement for the Motorcycle World Championship. To warm up for the Austrian Grand Prix at Spielberg, they battled it out on mopeds in a tight and entertaining race.
Third “MopedGP von Österreich”
At the “MopedGP von Österreich” on 17 September – before the MotoGP machines head out for practice at the Red Bull Ring – you can ride a few laps of the Grand Prix circuit on your own moped. Once registered, it’s time to show what you can do in the corners with up to 50cc of displacement!
Three MotoGP fans and the ride of their lives
A dream came true for three MotoGP fans as they climbed onto the pillion seat of a real race bike. They were the lucky winners of the year’s biggest MotoGP giveaway at the Red Bull Ring. Together with MotoGP test rider Jonas Folger, they experienced unbelievable G-forces, mind-blowing lean angles, and the most unforgettable race taxi ride of their lives on the Red Bull KTM RC16 Two-Seater.
Toprak Razgatlıoğlu up close
The 2026 MotoGP rookie is enjoying a huge fan base in Austria. If you secure a weekend ticket for the “Toprak Razgatlıoğlu Grandstand” by 7 September, you will have the chance to win one of five spots at a “Meet & Greet” with the Turkish rider. At the “Go with your Pro” experience, numerous motorcycle fans were already able to benefit from Toprak’s expertise and meet him in person on Media Day mid-May.
New date – same prices
While the date for the GRAND PRIX OF AUSTRIA 2026 is new, the spectacular side-event programme at the Red Bull Ring remains unchanged – as do ticket prices: a General Admission ticket for the entire weekend is available for just 99 euros.
