So, what’s absolutely unmissable during the Austrian GP weekend at Spielberg? Actually, not a single thing! However, this year there are some very special moments where you should pull out your phone and take a picture – if only to show off to your colleagues in the office on Monday.
The FIVE TOP PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES at the Red Bull Ring:
The Red Bull Ring has a well-deserved reputation for giving fans a great view of the race track from each of the seated grandstands as well as the standing room area. But the view from the five-metre-tall Selfie Tower of the F1 circuit and the surrounding Alpine landscape is unparalleled.
Location: In the standing room area directly below our 4WD Test Track.
Another selfie attraction this weekend is the Red Bull Ring Cup. You won’t be posing next to the actual winner’s trophy that the drivers will be holding in their hands on Sunday, but you will be standing next to a large-scale replica. Thanks to its size, it’s ideal for all kinds of selfie shots. See for yourself!
Location: Opposite the Steiermark Village in the direction of Turn 10
In the period from 1966 to 1974, the CanAm series was considered the most spectacular racing series in the world. Everything was possible, everything was allowed, and there were almost no restrictions. The regulations had no engine displacement limit, but cars with turbochargers or superchargers. Apart from that, there were no other de facto technical constraints. You can take a close look at six of these legendary cars at the vehicle exhibition.

If you’ve been at the Red Bull Ring since Thursday, you’ve probably already seen them on the Pit Lane Walk – our TWO mascots. Yes, you read that right. There are two mascots on the Red Bull Ring site this f1-weekend and they are happy to be pose for photos with motorsport fans.
Location: All over the main site
The most sought-after photo subjects this weekend are obviously the F1 drivers and team bosses. Some fans have already been lucky enough to meet their personal hero during the Pit Lane Walk (for example, Max Verstappen stopped by briefly in the pits) or the Meet the Drivers session. The best chance for a selfie is at the Styrian Green Carpet.
