A MotoGP weekend at the Red Bull Ring isn’t just about top-class racing and a bit of fun away from the track. We bring you a round-up of the top side events due to take place alongside the Motorcycle World Championships. We’re sure you are going to love the extraordinary programme of activities in the MotoGP Fan Zone.
The new MotoGP Fan Zone features three ‘experience zones’ this year, one of which is the VibeSphere. From Thursday to Sunday, DJs will be generating a great atmosphere with some thumping beats. From Friday to Sunday, you’ll also be able to watch four artists on different wheels really rocking the half-pipe in trial freestyle, skateboarding and BMX shows.
Red Bull Tricks & Trial Show
Adrian Guggemos is a trial freestyle athlete. It seems there’s no trick he can’t master on his trial bike. The 32-year-old is constantly reinventing his sport and, over multiple sessions during the weekend, will be performing his repertoire of breathtaking stunts on two wheels in the MotoGP Fan Zone and on the Red Bull Ring itself.
Red Bull Skate & BMX Show
Calling all motorsport fans! We are proud to present two Olympians on four wheels.
Brandon Valjalo is one of South Africa’s most successful skateboarders. He is the African champion in his discipline and represented South Africa at the Olympic Games in Tokyo and Paris.
Together with Danny León, he’ll be conjuring up the best skate tricks from the international scene in the half-pipe over three days. The Spaniard also competed in the Olympics in Tokyo and Paris and is firmly established amongst the world’s best. Danny is one of the most influential figures in European skateboarding.
Senad Grosic is one of Austria’s best-known BMX freestyle athletes. Born in Croatia, he discovered his passion for the sport at an early age and fought his way to the top of the international rankings through years of gruelling training. Successes at competitions such as Red Bull Dirt Ride, X-Games China and Bike Days feature prominently on his CV. This grand master of the BMX scene will also be blowing you away on two wheels at the VibeSphere from Friday to Sunday.
