Rise and shine – it’s race Sunday! Set your alarm clock for an early start and head off to the Red Bull Ring – you don’t want to miss a thing, do you? There will be the customary mix of adrenaline and emotion, speed and camaraderie, all against a breathtaking backdrop. At 08:00 am, the MotoGP Fan Zone opens, so pop in for a morning pint, slap your thighs to the sound of a brass band and get into the swing of things. At 09:40, the MotoGP stars emerge from the pit lane for the warm up session.
Arrive early
If you want to get there in good time for the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix, you should set your alarm for an early departure. We recommend an arrival time before 08:00. The best form of travel to the Red Bull Ring is by bus, train or bike – it’s quick and stress-free. The car parks open at 07:00 and are within walking distance of the circuit.
Take the shuttle! If possible, you should travel by public transport or bike, especially on Race Sunday.
Will Marc Márquez secure a second successive victory in Austria, or will Jorge Martín strike back?
Marc Márquez celebrated his maiden Grand Prix victory in Austria in 2025. Since 2022, his great rival Francesco Bagnaia had been unbeatable at the Red Bull Ring – that is, since the new layout incorporating the Münzer chicane. Another home victory for KTM would, of course, be fantastic for the Austrian outfit – perhaps Pedro Acosta will come out on top? The world’s motorcycling elite leave the starting blocks at 14:00. But there’s still plenty more on the programme for you to enjoy in the run-up to the race.

On and off the race track
After the Rider Parade (10:00) around the track, the contestants head straight to the ‘Hero Walk on the Styrian Green Carpet’ (10:20) in front of the Red Bull Ring Welcome Center, where the MotoGP stars, together with the youngsters from the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, will be signing autographs and taking time out for selfies with the fans.
Red Bull Air Show to cap the occasion
High in the sky above the circuit, the Flying Bulls and their team will amaze spectators ahead of the Grand Prix race.

Austrian National Anthem
Before the actual Grand Prix race gets underway, the Woodstock Allstar Band will be playing the national anthem. The grandstands will be sea of Austrian red, white and red-striped flags. Meanwhile, parachutists of HSV Red Bull Skydive team will descend from above to deliver the national colours.
Live music and disco beats to round off the weekend in the MotoGP Fan Zone
In the Rock Area, Just Julian will bring the curtain down on the race weekend; in the VibeSphere, DJ Stefano will be manning the console; and in the Steirer Stadl, following a morning pint with a brass band, DJ Bozyl will be turning up the volume on the turntables once more.
