It’s Sprint Saturday, which means excitement on the track!
At 10:50, Acosta, Binder, Márquez and the other MotoGP stars will be slugging it out in qualifying for the best starting positions. At 15:00, the battle for victory in the MotoGP Tissot Sprint – and for crucial championship points – gets underway.

Celebration of the day: Sprint Ceremony
Marc Márquez claimed the Sprint victory at Spielberg in 2025. Prior to that, Francesco Bagnaia had been unbeatable in this discipline in Austria. Who will be celebrating victory at the Red Bull Ring today in the MotoGP Fan Zone in front of thousands of fans? After the Sprint, the top finishers will head to the stage in the VibeSphere, as the podium ceremonywill once again take place not on the track itself but amongst the fans. So you can be right there in the thick of it when the Top Three pop the champagne!
Meet the Riders
There are further opportunities to mingle with the MotoGP contestants at Meet the Riders (17:30). They will be answering questions from presenter Karina Toth*. Be there and rub shoulders with the MotoGP stars.

Hero Walk on the Styrian Green Carpet
At the Hero Walk on the Styrian Green Carpet in front of the Red Bull Ring Welcome Centre (Saturday, 11:45), riders from the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, Moto2 and Moto3 will be signing autographs and taking time out for selfies with fans.
Entertainment in the new MotoGP Fan Zone
The programme of events in the MotoGP Fan Zone kicks off at 9.00 am. For the first time, the Fan Zone features three themed areas: the Rock Area, the VibeSphere and the Steirer Stadl. You can look forward to DJs, live acts and spectacular freestyle and BMX shows.
Rock music with a pulsating beat and fabulous acoustics
In the evening, the Rock Area, the VibeSphere and the Steirer Stadl offer something to suit every musical taste. Saturday’s headliners are Febration, Falco Forever, Just Fränds and Kulturerben.

Stress-free journey to the Red Bull Ring
If you want to be there for the start of MotoGP qualifying, you should leave home in good time. We recommend arriving before 08:00. The best way to get to the Red Bull Ring is by bus, train or bike – it’s quick and stress-free. The car parks open at 07:00 and are within walking distance of the circuit.
Take the shuttle! If possible, you should travel by public transport or bike on Saturday.
The biker changing rooms are located at car park P4, where you can leave your motorcycling gear, as well as larger bags (which aren’t allowed in the grandstands), for a small fee*. If there are no spaces left at P4, the police and stewarding staff will direct you to the nearest available car park.
If camping, it is recommended that you arrive at the campsite before 09:00 on Saturday. To ensure traffic flows smoothly, you will be guided by signs on the S36 Murtal Expressway.
