MotoGP Saturday at the Red Bull Ring is going to be hot – and not just because of the weather! Start off with a coffee in MotoGP Bike City (opens at 08:00) and get ready for a day packed with memorable moments. The top event of the day will be the sprint race at 15:00, when Miller, Marquez and the other MotoGP aces will be battling for victory and vital world championship points. The tension couldn’t be greater, with a gap of just three points between current leaders Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia, and a mere 62 points separating the Top Four. It’s too close to call, which means that we are in for some thrilling action
Fast Facts:
After the sprint, spectators need to head straight for MotoGP Bike City, because the award ceremony won’t be taking place on the podium, but on the event stage. This will allow fans to get even closer when the corks pop and the Top Three spray the champagne.

When the bikes disappear into the pits, that’s the signal for a high-calibre programme of entertainments to begin. The Red Bull Masters of Dirt FMX shows and Adrian Guggemos’ trial bike stuntshows will provide thrills (and possibly some spills). Next up, it’s Dario Costa, the only pilot to have flown a plane through a tunnel. Get ready for some breathtaking flying manoeuvres from Costa in the cockpit of his Zivko Edge 540!
Meet the stars and then rock out to the beats of U2 and KISS – that’s only possible at MotoGP at the Red Bull Ring. U2 Tribute – Achtung Babies have been on stage for over 20 years celebrating the songs of the Irish super band. They are supported by a specially created video show. KISS Forever have already performed KISS’s entire work from 1973 to today (over 80 songs) at over 1000 shows in 27 countries.
Save top programme picks in the Red Bull Ring app on your phone so you don’t miss a thing. Not got the app yet? Then it’s high time!
Make use of the free water dispensers around the site – a must in temperatures predicted to top 30 degrees. You can find their exact locations in the Red Bull Ring app. There are also several water fans on the Red Bull Ring grounds to keep you cool.
