Public Pit Lane Walk – Experience the MotoGP riders up close and in person

From September 18-20th, the MotoGP, the premier class on two wheels, will once again be making a guest appearance at the Red Bull Ring. If you want to experience the stars and bikes up close and in person, you have the opportunity at the Public Pit Lane Walk on Thursday. During the Public Pit Lane Walk, the gates to the pit lane are opened, giving you a look into the sanctum of the MotoGP teams and experience firsthand how the bikes are prepared for the race weekend.

The Public Pit Lane Walk is an absolute highlight for every MotoGP fan. Let yourself be carried away by the unique atmosphere and get a selfie with your favourite rider. Spontaneous visits from MotoGP stars are not uncommon during the Public Pit Lane Walk.

Admission to the Public Pit Lane Walk is on Thursday from 02:30 p.m. at the start finish grandstand (sectors K-A). All holders of a weekend ticket have access to the Public Pit Lane Walk (from 04:20 p.m. to 05:40 p.m.). If you haven’t secured your weekend ticket yet, then it’s time!

• Thursday, September 17th, 2026, from 04:20 p.m. to 05:40 p.m.
• Only holders of a weekend ticket are eligible to take part in the Public Pit Lane Walk. Visitor numbers are strictly limited – first come, first served.
• Entrance from 02:30 p.m. via grandstand Start Ziel (sectors K-A). You will be called sector by sector to the Public Pit Lane Walk. Please arrive on time and pay attention to the ongoing announcements.
• Drinks can be purchased at the kiosks on the grandstand Start Ziel.
• There is a strict smoking ban throughout the entire pit lane.

It’s not just the pit lane that heats up on Thursday ahead of the race weekend. There’s plenty of action on the track as well, as the “MopedGP von Österreich” returns for its third edition, with hundreds of moped enthusiasts taking to the Red Bull Ring for a few unforgettable laps.
