MotoGP at Red Bull Ring: Alexander Eder to sing the national anthem

The MotoGP weekend promises to be an extravaganza for all the senses.

The double race action to watch and the concentrated two-wheel power to feel (and smell) are not all the programme has to offer. Around Austria’s national GP race track at Spielberg, there will also be offered a lot of music! The audio spectrum ranges from the unique engine sound of the world’s most powerful racing bikes to the uplifting moment for Austrian fans waving their red-white-red banners when Alexander Eder delivers his own unique rendition of the national anthem.

Last year, I was cheering on the stars of the sport at the Red Bull Ring as a fan from the stands. This year, being a part of the biggest motorbike event in the country and having been invited to share my interpretation of the Austrian national anthem with the whole world makes me very proud and infinitely grateful.

Last year, I was cheering on the stars of the sport at the Red Bull Ring as a fan from the stands,” says the 24-year-old chart-topper. “This year, being a part of the biggest motorbike event in the country and having been invited to share my interpretation of the Austrian national anthem with the whole world makes me very proud and infinitely grateful.” Eder is himself an enthusiastic biker and MotoGP fan: “Two wheels have always been my greatest passion. From mini-circuits we laid out in the garden, I soon graduated to Austria’s most beautiful mountain roads and real race tracks.
