Life is better on a race track – especially at the MotoGP

Extremely creative and a bit crazy – that’s the typical MotoGP fan at the Red Bull Ring.

This weekend’s CryptoDATA Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich 2023 is set to be the absolute highlight of the racing season – at least from the perspective of all local motorcycle fans. When the KTM riders and their opponents propel their racing machines around the Red Bull Ring at speeds of more than 300 km/h, the fans will be in raptures. A look at the grandstands and the campsite shows: MotoGP fans – regardless of their age, die-hard fans or MotoGP newcomers – know “Life is better on a race track”.

With the degrees on the thermometer, the atmosphere in the MotoGP Bike City is also rising. The motorcyclists chill out on sun chairs on the large lawn and enjoy the delicious Spritzer creations. In front of the huge event stage, men in black biker gear swinging their hips to Mr. President’s Coco Jambo. Admittedly, that’s irritating. After all, less than 24 hours earlier, the cover band “WE SALUTE YOU – World’s biggest Tribute to AC/DC” delivered the soundtrack for the race weekend.

The focus this weekend is on the riders and their bikes – but one or the other fan manages to steal the show from the MotoGP stars. Be it with an oversized “Jackass” tattoo on the thigh or offers like “we want to drink our beer out of your boots.”

If you haven’t yet got your ticket for the two-wheel highlight of the year, you’re missing out on a unique atmosphere at Spielberg. For anyone who decides to turn up at the last minute, the box offices at the Red Bull Ring site will be open from 08:00 onwards.
