The line-up at the season opener this weekend (20th/21st May) will consist of 26 talented two-wheel riders from all over Europe, who will be competing in two classifications. The contestants in the 160 class will be racing on identical motorbikes, the Ohvale GP-0 160 4 Speed, and those in the 190 class on the Ohvale GP-2 190 Daytona. Fans can look forward to some high-octane action at the Driving Center.
The programme for Saturday consists of two qualifying sessions. Sunday will then see the 160cc and the new 190cc classes fighting for victory. “Following the success of its first year, the event has grown considerably in popularity,” says Gustl Auinger, patron of the MiniGP™ Austria Series. “We have a colourful mix of very talented riders in the 2023 field.”
