An unbelievable 304,000 spectators ensure a perfect atmosphere at the Red Bull Ring! The rush to the Styrian Green Carpet proved that the enthusiasm for F1 among the fans is unbroken. When the gates opened, there was no holding the fans back – everyone wanted to be at the front to have best chances of getting a selfie and autograph from their favorite driver.
Immediately before the start of the race, another fan highlight was the Legends Parade. Among others, Dr. Helmut Marko, Jos Verstappen and David Coulthard drove in cars of the CanAM series over the race track. The legendary racing cars with well-known names such as McLaren, Lola or BRM can be seen in the vehicle exhibition in the F1 Fan Zone away from the Legends Parade.
