The year 2020 will go down in history for many reasons, and Spielberg had its own part to play by helping Formula 1 to start its season as the world saw the return of global sporting events. It may have been a historic moment in Austrian sport, but it was also the first time Formula 1 was held without fans at the circuit. While the pandemic remains here for now, the Red Bull Ring is sending out another strong signal of hope by starting ticket sales for the Formula 1 Großer Preis von Österreich 2021 on 2-4 July.
Formula 1 fans can look forward to immersing themselves in the top motorsport series again in Austria, as they see the stars up close and cheer them on!
While preparations for a motorsport festival with fans will continue, restrictions can be imposed at short notice, unfortunately. Act fast is the name of the game with the principle of first come, first served more important than ever. The date on which an order was received will be noted, so that tickets can be allocated to those buying them first if a reduction in the planned number of spectators is required.
Projekt Spielberg has acquired a great deal of know-how for hosting major events under the challenging current conditions. The organiser of the double F1 Grand Prix and double Moto GP weekend in summer 2020 has broken new ground with a medical concept to protect the health of everyone at the circuit along with people in the surrounding region. This pioneering work provided numerous important insights into how to handle the Covid-19 pandemic at sport events worldwide.
We can now therefore prepare for the return of the Motorsport Festival at Spielberg. From 2 July to 4 July 2021, a battle for championship points will be contested for the ninth time in eight years at the Red Bull Ring – in front of huge crowds of fans again. The backdrop of the Red Bull Ring that generated worldwide excitement from 2014 to 2019 will return.
Fans can now get their tickets!
