The racing series is well known as a stepping stone to the highest echelon of the sport. Less well known is the fact that F3 has its origins in the so-called ‘500 movement’.
Nowadays, it is hard to imagine that the likes of Sir Stirling Moss, Jack Brabham, Bernie Ecclestone, Graham Hill and Ken Tyrell raced in such basic models, which are somewhat reminiscent of soapboxes. Safety belt? Roll bars? Not considered necessary at the time. The 50-horsepower packet is produced by a 500cc motorbike engine in a compartment situated directly behind the driver.

Your event ticket entitles you to admire historic vehicles close up and watch them compete against each other on the track. Day tickets are available from €35.00, weekend tickets are available for adults from €50.00. Tickets for children (0-15 years) are heavily discounted. Admission is free for all ages on Friday. You also have access to the paddock, where an exhibition of gems from the history of motorsport awaits you. Talking shop with the drivers about these legendary vehicles is not only permitted but actually encouraged!
