How to stay cool during the F1 weekend

Take regular hydration breaks

FREE WATER AT THE EVENT SITE

Free water stations are available throughout the entire venue.

The following drink containers are permitted on the event grounds: plastic bottles, standard beverage cans, thermos bottles, and thermos flasks (up to 1.5 litres).
Make sure to eat regularly as well to help maintain your circulation and energy levels.

Please note: Bringing glass containers and alcoholic beverages onto the event site is not permitted.

WATER MIST STATIONS TO COOL DOWN

Water mist stations are located behind all grandstand areas, where you can cool off throughout the day.

FREE SUNSCREEN

Protect yourself from the sun – free sunscreen dispensers are available across the venue.

Tip: Don’t forget your sunglasses!

TAKE BREAKS FROM THE SUN

Whenever possible, spend some time in shaded areas throughout the day.

WEAR A HAT OR CAP

At the Red Bull Ring Fan Shop and the official F1 merchandise stands, you can not only stock up on the latest merch but also make sure you keep a cool head during the weekend.

COOL DOWN REGULARLY

Bring towels or cloths that you can wet and use to refresh yourself.

You can find a list of all permitted and prohibited items in the admission criteria.

MORE TIPS FOR HOT WEATHER

Bring a hand fan or portable fan and wear lightweight, breathable clothing.

FREE RAIN PONCHOS

If rain catches us by surprise, free rain ponchos are available at all Info Points.

SAFETY FOR ALL AT THE RING - FIRST AID

Visit one of the First Aid stations if you feel unwell.
Help others or seek assistance if you notice someone struggling with the heat.
