MotoGP track test in “hard enduro” style

Manuel Lettenbichler in the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing box

Shortly before the end of the MotoGP summer break, Hard Enduro World Champion and Erzberg Champion Manuel Lettenbichler tested the Red Bull Ring in “Hard Enduro” style. Conclusion: The Austrian Grand Prix circuit is ready for the world’s best motorcycle racers.

Manuel Lettenbichler has won the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo four times in a row (2022-2025) and is a three-time Hard Enduro World Champion. These credentials should be enough to send the German onto the track as a qualified endurance tester for the Red Bull Ring before the MotoGP riders do. Although Manuel “Mani” Lettenbichler did not necessarily stick to the track limits in the run-up to the “Motorrad Grand Prix of Austria 2025”, the successfully completed track test was all the more comprehensive.

When the motorcycle pro twists the throttle, nothing is safe from him: grandstands, tire stacks at the Niki Lauda Turn including a 13-meter jump, gravel beds at the end of the Schönberg Straight, or all the race track equipment at T3, the hardest braking point on the course. The steel bull, the landmark of the Red Bull Ring, and the start-finish straight are now officially wheelie-tested – on both the rear and front wheels – which is also crucial when mastering a MotoGP bike, as soon as an incredible 300 hp of engine power pushes from behind. Last but not least, after a victory, the World Championship riders prefer to express their adrenaline-fueled joy with a wheelie.

Enough talk—motorsport fans, sit back and enjoy “Mani in Action” at the Red Bull Ring:
