Camping Guide for the MotoGP weekend at the Red Bull Ring

campsites at the Red Bull Ring

We all know that real bikers sleep under an open sky, but which campsite is the right one for you? White, Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Pink, Purple, Orange and Beige… you are spoilt for choice. What these campsites have in common, however, is their proximity to the Red Bull Ring: they are all within walking distance of the race track. A festival atmosphere prevails on the camping zones near Flatschach, whereas those on the eastern side tend to be a little more sedate. As in the MotoGP itself, speed is of the essence when booking your campsite.

Info & Booking

Arrival & Departure

No matter which campsite you choose, you will be immersed in MotoGP 24 hours a day. Ticket holders for the CryptoDATA Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich 2023 will begin to arrive as early as Wednesday. Campers can claim their pitches all day on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, however, it is recommended that you arrive before 09:00. LED signs will be displayed on the S36 Murtal motorway from Thursday onwards to guide motorists to the various campsites and optimise traffic flows. For Pink, Orange, White, Green, Purple and Yellow camping zones, the Knittelfeld West exit is best. Campers heading to Blue, Red and Beige should exit at Zeltweg West.

  • Children up to 14 years of age: no charge
  • Electricity is included in the pitch price
  • Barbecues are allowed using suitable equipment (charcoal or gas only).
  • No electric cooking or heating devices may be used.
  • Open fires and pyrotechnic devices (i.e. fireworks) are prohibited.

Good food puts you in a good mood

Just as on the Formula 1 weekend, we also offer a very special service for MotoGP fans – a shuttle bus to a nearby Spar supermarket. So if you run out of something, you can conveniently stock up again. In the MotoGP Bike City, of course, there will also be a wide range of stalls serving food and drink. So everything is set for your great MotoGP weekend.
