Austrian GP 2025: The best photo opportunities at the Red Bull Ring

So, what’s absolutely unmissable during the Austrian GP weekend at Spielberg? Actually, not a single thing! However, this year there are some very special moments and places where you should pull out your phone and take a picture – if only to show off to your colleagues in the office on Monday.

The TOP PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES at the Red Bull Ring:

One of the photo attraction this weekend is the Red Bull Ring Trophy. You won’t be posing next to the actual winner’s trophy that the drivers will be holding in their hands on Sunday, but you will be standing next to a large-scale replica. Thanks to its size, it’s ideal for all kinds of selfie shots. See for yourself!

Location: Behind the grandstand Start-Ziel – across from Steiermark Village

It’s not just the coveted Red Bull Ring trophy waiting for you – the legendary FIA F1 Championship Trophy will also be on display! Don’t miss the chance to see this iconic piece of motorsport history up close. This prestigious masterpiece is a true highlight – and the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable selfie.

Almost everyone knows the AUSTRIAN GP sign in Turn 1 of the Red Bull Ring, but hardly anyone gets close enough to the sign for a photo. In the Steiermark Village you will find a not-so-small “mini-edition” of the AUSTRIAN GP sign. You can sit on it with your friends or lie down in front of it. There are (almost no) limits to your poses.

If you’ve been at the Red Bull Ring since Thursday, you’ve probably already seen them on the Pit Lane Walk – our TWO mascots. Yes, you read that right. Ringo and Bulli Junior are on the Red Bull Ring site this f1-weekend and they are happy to take selfies with you.

The most sought-after photo subjects this weekend are obviously the F1 drivers and team bosses. Some fans have already been lucky enough to meet their personal hero during “Meet the Drivers” or “Meet the Team Principals” session. The best chance for a selfie is at the Styrian Green Carpet (08:00 – 11:00).

A snapshot with Max Verstappen, Lando Norris or Charles Leclerc? If you don’t have any luck at Meet the Drivers and the Styrian Green Carpet, then there is another solution: the Driver Towers. If you walk from Steiermark Village to the F1 Fan Zone, you can’t miss it. And it’s that easy: Stand in front of the Drivers Tower of your choice, get into the right pose and press the shutter button.

In addition to plenty of chances to get up close to World Championship stars and snap real-life shots, a very special highlight awaits you at Steiermark Village: the “F1 Driver Selfie” point! Augmented Reality brings your favourite driver virtually to your side – almost as if they were really standing next to you. The result? A unique souvenir photo that you can save digitally or print out on the spot. A selfie with a twist – and definitely an eye-catcher!

You may have already spotted it – the green heart made of flowers, shining brightly at Turn 3 beneath the iconic AUSTRIAN GP sign. A real eye-catcher, especially when viewed from a distance. A bit smaller, but just as lovingly designed, you’ll find another Green Heart at Steiermark Village – the perfect spot for a truly special souvenir photo.
