The battle for the title of WISBI Champion 2023 took place on a specially configured circuit at the Driving Center last weekend. In previous years, the fastest ten drivers competed against each other in a shootout, with the top four competing for the title in the finale.
This year the five fastest drivers were pitted against each other in a shootout contest. The contestants were each driving a 790-kilo 330-horsepower KTM X-Bow, thereby ensuring a tough but fair competition.
Each lap, the driver with the slowest lap time was eliminated. In the deciding race, WISBI rookie Alexander Hübner, participating in the event for the very first time, prevailed over WISBI regulars Eduard Trummer and Thomas Schlack.
