Formula 1 2026 – First-Class Entertainment Programme

View from above of the event stage at night where the band folkshilfe is performing

The summer highlight and halfway point of the 2026 F1 calendar comes on the weekend of 26th ‑ 28th June with the staging of the FORMULA 1 LENOVO AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX at the Red Bull Ring in the heart of Steiermark province. Spectators at Spielberg will be rubbing shoulders with world championship stars in the F1 Fan Zone, where live acts and DJs will be keeping the whole family well entertained. If you still haven’t purchased tickets for this festival of the world’s racing elite, you should snap them up now!

To ensure the public is kept thoroughly entertained at all times during the race weekend, there will be four days of top-class side-events – which is precisely what makes the Austrian GP at Spielberg so special. The programme gets underway on the Thursday before the race action with the Pit Lane Walk. If you miss out on this, there are plenty of other opportunities to take selfies with F1 drivers and get their autographs, the best of which are Meet the Drivers and the Styrian Green Carpet.

Your entertainment hub: The F1 Fan Zone

The F1 Fan Zone will be putting on a wide range of entertainment, including an extensive programme of live concerts. In 2026, big names from the current music scene will once again take to the stage.

Friday night is DJ Night

By the time the F1 engines are first fired up at the Red Bull Ring, the F1 Fan Zone will already be buzzing. DJ Night will feature multiple acts pumping out feel-good sounds:

  • Just Fränds, an Austrian DJ duo who blend house, dance and hip-hop edits, are sure to get you on your feet and dancing.
  • Local turntable star Toby Romeo, who has taken Spotify by storm, registering no fewer than 350 million streams, will be back for the Formula 1 race weekend at Spielberg this year. Electronic dance music, club pop and tech-house are his speciality, his best-known anthems being ‘Where the Lights are Low’ and ‘Crazy Heart’. This Austrian artist has collaborated with giants of the scene such as David Guetta and Alan Walker. He will be getting the weekend off to an unforgettable start on F1 Friday.
  • David Puentez: The German DJ and producer is already something of an old hand behind the decks, his playlist including ‘Superstar’ and ‘LalaLife’. The energy level boost is coming at Spielberg!

Saturday Night Fever

DJ Night turns into Band Night. The headliner on F1 qualifying Saturday will be transforming the area around the event stage into a massive rave.

  • First up is Tyrolean house and dance DJ Damo Uknow who made a name for himself by winning the Red Bull Turn It Up 2026 DJ contest. We’re staying with the Tyroleans – South Tyroleans, to be precise.
  • Rudy MC has already performed at the Electric Love Festival, the Donauinselfest, the Electric Mountain Festival and in Mallorca. He has also been the support act for Timmy Trumpet and David Guetta.
  • LaBrassBanda: The members of this Bavarian band use traditional instruments to deliver a raw, powerful sound that cuts across a range of musical genres. Their wild mix of brass, ska, techno, folk music, reggae and punk plus lyrics sung in Bavarian dialect come together to create a fast-paced live show.

Sunday brings you the After Race Party

Race Sunday gets off to a fitting start with the sounds of brass band music. Later, after 71 laps and over 306 kilometres of top-flight racing, the champagne flows on the podium. But that is by no means the end of the F1 party. The Tyroleans are well represented on this year’s stage: Medun is equally at home in the mountains and in the realm between deep and tech house. The Prater Dome’s resident DJ is tasked with providing a high-energy set to ensure the racing weekend ends on a high.
