The week leading up to the Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring has begun. Fans who have already secured their tickets are getting ready for the standout event of the motor racing calendar at Spielberg. If you’re one of those people who prefer to decide at the last minute, tickets are still available on site from Thursday on. We have ten tips for ensuring that the race weekend is an unforgettable experience.
1. For a relaxed journey, there are numerous attractive alternatives to travelling by car, including public transport. Kick off your weekend right!
2. The F1 Fan Zone behind the Niki Lauda turn is the place to be for anyone who enjoys a festival atmosphere generated by popular bands and DJs (Toby Romeo, Folkshilfe, VIZE, 2:tages:bart, Knallblech, RIAN). There are also numerous fan challenges waiting for you.
3. The Steiermark Village opposite the Welcome Center offers a full programme of traditional live music throughout the weekend.
4. Red Bull Drift Shows & Dance your Style will keep you entertained during the race weekend.
5. At Meet the Drivers & Meet the Team Principals, the stars of the premier class of racing will be appearing on the event stage of the F1 Fan Zone. Be sure to try and snag a selfie or autograph!
6. Another chance for a selfie with your favourite driver: the Styrian Green Carpet directly in front of the Welcome Center, where you can rub shoulders with the World Championship drivers.
7. The Red Bull Legends Parade 2025 brings Hollywood glamour to the Red Bull Ring, with ‘Movie Cars’ as the main theme. Check out these vehicles racing or showcased in the F1 Fan Zone.
8. At the Drivers Parade on Sunday before the Grand Prix, the F1 stars will do a lap of the Red Bull Ring and wave to their fans. Verstappen even has a supply of goodies with him – maybe you’ll get your hands on one!
9. The Austrian national anthem before the start of the race provides the ultimate goosebump moment at Spielberg every year. Sit back and enjoy the sea of red, white and red flags, rousing performances and the Flying Bulls air display.
