Go with your Pro: Train with Jean Alesi at the Red Bull Ring

Jean Alesi as a coach at the Red Bull Ring

When you visit the vehicle exhibition located inside our Welcome Center, take a good close-up look at the Sauber C17, resplendent in the blue colour of main sponsor Red Bull. You now have the opportunity to do two days of training (22nd and 23rd April) at the Red Bull Ring under the guidance of the racing star who once drove it, Jean Alesi.

During the Go with your Pro sessions, the Frenchman will take on the role of your coach. After all, who better to explain to you how to control a racing car than the man who finished fourth in the 1996 and 1997 F1 world championships? “The Red Bull Ring is a ballet of velocity and precision, balancing high-speed sections with technical slow corners. This combination is a true test of a driver’s skill and adaptability”, says Alesi.

The former f1-driver looks forward to his new role as a coach. “Observing the participants translate my guidance into action on the track will be the most rewarding part of this new experience“, he explains. His reccommendation for the participations: “Precision over speed should be the mantra. The Red Bull Ring always promises good times.

Racing inspiration

Day one starts with a session in a Porsche 718 Cayman S and a session in a KTM X-Bow at the Driving Center. Up to this point, you have had the steering wheel in your own hands – now the seats are swapped. With a former F1 driver behind the wheel, you’ll be thrust back firmly into your seat. But the best part is yet to come! That’s when get into the cockpit of an F4 racing car and show your own racing capabilities.
