At the Red Bull Ring, measures are implemented to keep food surpluses as low as possible and to facilitate the further use of food that is suitable for consumption. Throughout the year, care is taken to handle food and other goods responsibly.
A partnership with Caritas has been in place since 2022 to facilitate the further use of food surpluses that may arise at major events such as Formula 1 and MotoGP. The cooperation enables food suitable for consumption to be passed on to people in need. Numerous volunteers support this process during event weekends by collecting, packing and loading the food.
