Pre-Event General

The CryptoDATA Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich 2022 will take place from 19 to 21 August.
There will only be one race this year.
As part of the MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and Red Bull Rookies Cup will be racing at the Red Bull Ring. You will find the current programme here.
No special protective measures apply. The current measures of the Austrian Federal Government can be found here.

Media Accreditation

Information about media accreditation for the “CRYPTODATA Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich 2023” will follow on time before the race weekend.

Pre-Event Tickets

Yes. You can find out all information about the tickets here.
Yes, your child needs a ticket, if your child hasn’t celebrated its 15th birthday on the day of the race. Your child must also be accompanied by an adult with a valid event ticket.
Yes, Ticket sales at the box office will start on Thursday, 18.08.2022.

Thursday from 13:30 to 18:00* (only box offices at the main entrance and MotoGP Bike City are open).
Friday from 08:00 to 18:00* (all ticket offices open)
Saturday from 08:00 to 18:00* (all cash desks)

Pre-Event Arrival

There are several ways to get to the race track. You can find an overview of all arrival options here or using the Red Bull Ring App under “Arrival”.
You should expect increased traffic at the racing weekend, so we recommend arriving as early as possible or using public transport. More information on the different arrival options are available here or in the Red Bull Ring app under “Arrival”.

Ö3 will keep you informed on the current traffic situation throughout the race weekend. The free ASFINAG app provides all information regarding traffic jams, accidents, construction sites, blocks and places to have a break. We wish you a save journey!
Usually one hour before the Red Bull Ring opens.
The parking spaces are free for visitors from Thursday to Sunday (except for buses and trucks).

Event – General

If you need help, dial 133. Police officers will be sent to you immediately. The more specific your information about the location is, the faster the police can be on site.
Whenever you need the support or intervention of the police or want to report something.
It is always best to dial 133. But of course the police are also on site. The officials are on the race site themselves and there is a separate police station directly at the Welcome Center.
Yes. You can find details of the broadcasting dates in your local TV listings. On site, you will have the opportunity to watch the races at the Red Bull Ring on large screens as well.

Yes, Ticket sales at the box office will start on Thursday, 18.08.2022. The principle at the ticket office is “first come, first served”.es

Event – Items

You can find a list of all permitted and prohibited items here
You can take plastic bottles and drinks cans (in reasonable quantities for personal consumption) with you to the event site. Beverage containers in the form of glass and other breakable bottles are prohibited.
Cameras, film and video cameras with batteries for private use and not for commercial purposes (e.g. NO video cameras suitable for television) are permitted. Professional television or video cameras as well as equipment for professional sound recording are prohibited.
Folding chairs and folding armchairs in the standing area are permitted. You can find a list of all permitted and prohibited items here.
