On the event weekend, the approach roads to the Red Bull Ring along with most of the main transport routes in Austria are fully open. Due to the expected heavy traffic and with some road works, we recommend the following routes, depending on your departure point:
- Vienna / East Austria:
A2 – Seebenstein junction – S6 – St. Michael junction – S36 (Please expect delays in the St. Michael junction area!)

Depending on your arrival route, you will be directed to the nearest parking area. Please memorise the number of your parking area indicated at the entrance to the respective area.
TIPPS:
- The early bird catches the worm: Please note that you should expect extensive traffic volumes at the time of your arrival. We therefore recommend trying to arrive before 08:00. In case you are at the ticket control before 07:30, you may have a little surprise (Early Bird) waiting for you.
- Traffic reports on Hitradio Ö3 radio station provide regular updates on the current traffic situation. The Austrian motor-way operator ASFINAG‘s free app, too, offers comprehensive information regarding traffic jams, accidents, roadworks, closed roads and rest areas.
