General event information

The Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich 2024 will take place from 16 to 18 August.

As part of the MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and FIM ENEL MotoE World Championship will be racing.

Motorsport events are noisy. It is recommended to wear hearing protection during the event and that children under the age of six are not brought to the event.

Arrival & Parking

You can get to the race track quickly, inexpensively and relaxed by bus, train or bike. You can find an overview of all the options here or in the Red Bull Ring App under the tab “arrival”.

You should expect increased traffic at the race weekend, so we recommend arriving as early as possible or using public transport. More information on the different arrival options are available here or in the Red Bull Ring app in the MotoGP tab under “Arrival”.

Ö3 will keep you informed on the current traffic situation throughout the race weekend. The free ASFINAG app provides all information regarding traffic jams, accidents, construction sites, blocks and places to take a break.

The parking lots will open one hour before the site opens and are in the immediate walking distance. Please use the traffic control system and the staff members on site to orientate yourself when entering.
The parking spaces are free for visitors from Thrusday to Sunday (except for buses, trucks and special parking spaces). You will find all informations for bus operators here.
All information can be found here. For the special parking spaces “P special”, you can travel from both directions via Knittelfeld West, then follow the road signage for “VIP PARKING AREAS”.

Wheelchair users with tickets to the grandstand “Tribüne Start Ziel” will receive parking permits which let them drive all the way up to the Red Bull Ring. The wheelchair car park has an additional contact point where specially trained employees will be happy to help you with anything you may need. “Tribüne Start Ziel” has a wheelchair ramp and disabled toilets on the same level as the grandstand seats. Camping

The campsites are mostly open from Wednesday before the race weekend. To make your journey as stress-free as possible, click here for more information.

Cashless

You can make cashless payments everywhere at the Red Bull Ring. In many places only cashless payment is possible. All major credit and debit cards are accepted, as well as cashless cards.

It is advisable to use cashless payment, as only cashless payment is possible in many places on the Red Bull Ring site. At some sales stands, such as the Fan Shop Red Bull Ring, it is possible to pay with cash.

Emergency

If you need help, dial 133 or 112. Police officers will be send to you immediately. The mor specific your information about your location is, the faster the police can be on site.

Whenever you need the support or intervention of the police or want to report something.

It is always best to dial 133 or 112. But of course the police are also in site. The officials are on the race site themselves and there is a seperate police station directly at the Welcome Center.

Grandstands

All grand stands are open. You can find an overview plan here.

All grandstand seats are numbered. You will find the information about your seat on your valid MotoGP ticket.

Items

The central motorcycle parking lot near P4 has biker lockers. All equipment can be handed in for a fee of 15 euros* per day or a fee of 35 euros* for the whole weekend. The equipment will be stored in its own box (50x40x40cm) until it is picked up.

  • Friday: 07:30 to 22:00
  • Saturday: 07:30 to 22:00
  • Sunday: 06:30 to 18:00

You can take plastic bottles and drink cans (in reasonable quantities for personal consumption) with you to the event site. All kind of alcoholic beverages are prohibited. You can find a list of all permitted and prohibited items here.

Cameras and digital cameras may only be taken to the grandstands if they are no larger than a standard SLR camera with a standard lens up to a maximum focal length of 180mm or a maximum lens length of 20cm. Professional television or video cameras as well as devices for professional sound recording are prohibited.

Prohibited photo equipment at the grandstand: photo cases, photo bags, photo backpacks, monopods and multi-legged tripods, telephoto lenses over 180mm focal length and 20cm longer (from camera, incl. lens hood). This regulation applies only to grandstands and does not apply to standing areas and fan zone. You can find a list of all permitted and prohibited items here.

Bulky, large (sport) bags or suitcases are prohibited for access to the stands. All items of luggage larger than A3 that cannot be stowed under the seat are considered bulky within the meaning of this provision. Suitcases and larger bags can also be handed over to the biker cloakrooms (P4) for a fee of 15 euros* per day or a fee of 35 euros* for the whole weekend. The equipment will be stored in its own box (50x40x40cm) until it is picked up.

Pyrotechnic articles of all kinds are prohibited. In general, bringing in fireworks, smoke bombs, incendiary devices, sticks, poles, garden and other large umbrellas, glass bottles, stones, stabbing, cutting and slashing objects as well as weapons of all kind is prohibited. You can find a list of all permitted and prohibited items here.

Yes. You can find details of the broadcasting dates on you local TV listings. On site, you will have the opportunity to watch the races at the Red Bull Ring on large screens as well.
Audio description (acoustic desciption of images) will be available for blind and visually impaired visitors. Experienced hosts will comment on the events on the track and will ensure that blind and visually impaired visitors do not miss out on anything and can experience an entertaining race weekend. The audio description will be broadcast on the frequency 94.2 MHz and on the race weekend here with the LiveVoice App.
With the LiveVoice App you will be able to follow all training sessions, qualifying sessions and racing decisions as well as the other racing series live. On the race weekend you can download the LiveVoice app here.

You can buy your MotoGP ticket here. The tickets are offered as print@home tickets, which will be sent to you by E-mail.
Yes, your child needs a ticket, if your child has not celebrated its 15th birthday on the day of the race. Your child needs a children´s ticket and must also be accompanied by an adult with a valid event ticket. You can find all information about the tickets here.

Yes. Please note that tickets will be sold accordingly to respective availability. We therefore recommend securing tickets here in advance.
