The 2023 Rupert Hollaus Race was the 20th running of this event named after the young Austrian rider who died in a training accident at Monza on 11th September 1954 at the age of just 23, only a few weeks after winning the title in the 125cc class. To this day, Rupert Hollaus remains the only ‘red-white-red’ motorbike world champion in road racing.
