Save money, time & nervous energy: Tips for your journey to the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring

Fans arrive to Formula 1 at the Red Bull Ring

Welcome Race Fans!

On the weekend of 28th – 30th June, the Red Bull Ring will become a place of pilgrimage for tens of thousands of F1 fans. But travelling to the venue need not be stressful experience. To help you make your way to the Red Bull Ring, we’ve put together the following essential information.

Arrival at the Red Bull Ring by bus

With more than 120 pickup points, you can board the bus close to your home or hotel. Immediately after the race, you will be transported back to your hometown or to your hotel via the reverse route. The fleet of modern coaches will run from Friday to Sunday. On the Sunday of the race, you can also travel on one of our express shuttles.

The advantages are obvious:

  • Congestion-free arrival and departure: Our shuttlebuses run on exclusive routes to the Red Bull Ring. This means you arrive without major delays.
  • Convenience: Board the bus near your home, get off next to the Red Bull Ring and vice versa. Simply climb aboard and leave the driver to plan the route and navigate the roadworks. Perhaps most important of all, you won’t need to worry about parking!
  • Environmentally friendly: By opting for public transport instead of your own car, you are helping to reduce carbon emissions.
  • Good company: You will be spending the journey time with people who share your love of Formula 1. You can socialise and enjoy the build-up to the event.

Important note: Your bus ticket does not include entry to the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Austria 2024. The event ticket must be purchased separately.

The campsites are only a few minutes’ walk from the Red Bull Ring, putting fans close to the action and within a few steps of the race track. To help distribute campers around the sites as well as possible on Thursday, they are to be led along the S36 Murtal road by LED direction screens.

For Camping pink, turquoise (türkis), orange, green, purple, yellow und white campsites, the Knittelfeld West motorway exit is recommended. Those staying at the blue, red and beige campsites should turn off at Zeltweg West, however. Please follow the recommended route to your campsite.
