20 years of top-level touring car racing
Steeped in tradition, the BMW 325 Challenge is one of the most successful one-make racing series in historic motorsport. For the past 20 years, the series has delivered exciting, fair and cost-effective touring car racing, in which contestants drive identical vehicles and the focus is entirely on driver skills.
The car they compete in is the legendary BMW 325i (E30), with uniform technical regulations guaranteeing a level playing field. Tightly contested races, a stellar grid and a spectacular engine roar characterise the series – which is exactly what has made the BMW 325 Challenge so popular with drivers and spectators alike over the past two decades. The level of driving skill on display is very high, as talented youngsters compete against seasoned pros with their wealth of experience.
The 20th anniversary of the series will be celebrated in the context of the 2026 Red Bull Ring Classics. The venue – Spielberg – is synonymous with Austrian (and international) motorsport. The anniversary at the Red Bull Ring marks an emotional milestone for the series and promises to be a special highlight in the Historic Racing calendar.
