The youngest double world champion of all time

In 1990, at the age of 16, Loris Capirossi made his debut in the 125cc class and caused a sensation by beating all the stars of the time and becoming the youngest world champion in the history of the Motorcycle World Championship at the age of 17. In 1991, he went one better and became the youngest double world champion of all time. In 1998, he celebrated his third world championship title in the 250cc class. In 2003, the Italian brought Ducati its first MotoGP victory in Barcelona. Loris Capirossi is one of the longest-serving riders in the Motorcycle World Championship.
