Contract extension: F1 to race at the Red Bull Ring until 2027

Formula 1 sure to visit Spielberg for another four years from 2024 to 2027.

Good news for all F1 fans! The contract between the formula 1 and the Red Bull Ring has been extended for another four years. You can already look forward to a Formula 1 Großer Preis von Österreich on the F1 calendar until 2027. By the way, if you want a ticket for the “Holiday Grand Prix” from 30 June to 2 July 2023, you have to act fast and get your single day ticket here.

A highlight on the f1-calendar

Since its return to the calendar in 2014, the Red Bull Ring has earned a special place in the hearts of fans, teams and drivers with its unique side events and great passion for Formula 1 – making a great name for itself in international motorsport. The extraordinary circumstances of 2020 also resulted in some historic firsts. For the first time, the season’s opening race took place in Austria, two Grands Prix were held on the same race track on two consecutive weekends, and in addition to the Formula 1 Großer Preis von Österreich, there was also a Formula 1 Großer Preis der Steiermark.

In 2022, the Austrian success story continued seamlessly. 303,000 fans at the grandstands made for an incredible atmosphere and a new attendance record at the Red Bull Ring. Speaking of records:  Max Verstappen (2018, 2019, two wins in 2021) now holds the all-time-record with four victories at Spielberg, ahead of Alain Prost.
