167,850 spectators provided a fantastic backdrop at Spielberg on Sunday. Ticket sales for the CryptoDATA Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich 2023 start tomorrow.

A braking problem for polesetter Enea Bastianini, numerous changes of position at the front and a slip-up by Jorge Martin on the last lap – once again the Red Bull Ring played host to a thrilling MotoGP race. With Francesco Bagnaia’s victory and Jack Miller’s third place, Ducati lived up to its favourite’s tag at Spielberg. At the home race for their team KTM, Brad Binder and Miguel Oliveira finished seventh and twelfth respectively. Over the weekend, 167,850 spectators came to Spielberg to cheer on their MotoGP heroes.

Action on the track & in the air

Aras performed daring stunts on his Kawasaki Ninja 636 on the race track, while in the air two Eurofighters of the Austrian Air Force put on an impressive air display together with the Flying Bulls. Their message – there is not long to go until Airpower 2022. In addition, two Agusta Bell 212 helicopters of the Austrian Armed Forces flew the national flag and the Styrian state flag over the start-finish straight, while Hubert von Goisern sang the national anthem there.
