Although home fans have no Austrian contestants to cheer on in the Formula 2 and Formula 3 series, BWT Lechner Racing are once again the measure of all things in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. The local outfit currently leads the team classification, while their top driver, Harry King (GBR), is number one in the drivers’ standings.
Huber Racing, who also compete under the red-white-red flag, have recruited two well-known Austrian guest starters for the occasion – Luca Rettenbacher and Horst Felbermayr. Their team-mate is none other than multiple MotoGP championship winner Jorge Lorenzo (ESP).
